Pacific Coast Chorale
Pacific Coast Chorale (PCC) is a unique community chorus under the aegis of the San Diego Public Library. In keeping with the Library's mission to "help communities flourish,” PCC is a gateway to arts and culture through its exceptional performances and open access to chorus membership. PCC performs national and international music at SDPL sites—free of charge and offers membership to singers at no cost.
Consisting of more than 80 members, PCC has performed with City Ballet of San Diego (Mozart’s Requiem, Carmina Burana, The Nutcracker, and Handel’s Messiah) and East County Youth Symphony (Mozart’s Requiem). With a robust performance schedule, the chorale performs at various locations, including churches, theaters, festivals, and many SDPL branches.
PCC rehearses Saturday mornings 9:30-11:30 am at Logan Heights Library, located at 567 South 28th St., San Diego, CA, 92113. The repertoire is challenging and diverse, with emphasis given to rehearsal time and online tools for practice between rehearsals. As a community chorus, we are open to all.
PCC is supported totally by donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations. For more details on upcoming events and joining PCC, please visit the PCC website.
